I was sick sunday and am feeling better now (for the most part). I am still haunted by E. M. Bounds Words that I read last week and revisited today. Men (people) are God’s Method. The spiritual quality of the people of God will determine the quality of the Church of God. We are the conuits through which the Holy Spirit flows. We are beginning a new year with out boards, committees, teams, and church council, and I am always trying to come up with ways to make them better and more efficient in what they do, but in reality it is more important that I work at making the people on those boards, committees, teams, and council stronger conduits through which the Spirit can flow. If we each becomes a stronger follower of Christ, then the group as a whole becomes a stronger force for the kingdom.
I have a feeling there will be more to come on this…as God Speaks to my heart.
