   2. Money is not a reward for Godly Living 1 Cor 4:11′ Heb 11:37-38a
   3. Money is not a guarantee of contentment Ecc. 5:10
   4. Money is not a measure of success 1 Cor 4:7
3. How Then Should We Live
   1. Hold Possessions loosely Matt 19:21
   2. Willingly and joyously submit to His authority – 1 Chronicles 29:14-17

We have to find ways to move people from consumer to disciple, and if we only talk about what they will get then we aren’t being fair to them.

Reasons people Give

1. Relationships – with God and each other
2. Vision – To have purpose and Hope Second number one reason
3. Accountability – Why they will continue to give –Trust is essential
   1. Information
   2. Transparency

Stewardship is about our relationship with God and others

If churches don’t reach out and spend resources on others then we have become a consumer church
