St. Louis Camp Meeting is over and its time to move on to the next thing, but I can’t help but think back and wonder if all the preparation and anticipation was worth it. Since this was my first year as Program Committee Chair, I had a lot more prep to do before camp meeting than ever before, and even after camp meeting had begun was still running around trying to tie up loose ends. It almost feels like I was so busy preparing for camp meeting that I missed it. Overall though I have to say that God spoke to me through our speaker Jim Lyon every time I heard him. He seemed to have a way of making things that were complicated plain, and really revealed a lot of himself in his messages. He communicates like I would like to some day. I would love to hear what some others of you have to say about camp meeting this year and what you learned. Comment if you would like, and lets see if anybody actually reads these other than me!
