As I was working through my educational process preparing for ministry, God allowed me to develop another Set of skills that I am able to use in a variety of ways.

In College I developed a love for computers, and tinkering with them. This was an unholy love:-), and I had to take steps to control the hold that my new Hobby/Addiction had over me. Since then I have, out of necessity, maintained all of my own computers and networks in addition to supporting myself for a short time as a Systems Support Technician, and also Web Designer. I love to fix things and as such, seem to be the go-to-guy for many of the people that I know when they have a problem with their computers. I love to help, and I love to figure things out, so this works out well for everyone, as long as I remember to say “no” every once in a while to keep from becoming overwhelmed.

My love of computer graphics and web design grows out of my natural love for Photography (some day I will even have a good camera:), and my need for a web presence for the churches that I have served. I pride myself in being able to find ways to implement web designs with as little time and effort as possible, that are unique and functional.

During the Covid shutdown our church (like many others) has had to beef up our online presence and venture into the area of live streaming our services.  This has been a real challenge, but has also allowed us to find a new mission field as we go forward.  If you would like to talk with me about the equipment and tools that we use, I would be happy to share our experience (lots of trial and error) with you.  Its a different world than it once was, and social media and video is a huge part of that.

I also have a couple of kids that are really tech savvy and offer their services here, with the hope that they will continue to help Dad out from time to time
